Champion is made from a material bearing the Optyl label, which provides assurance of an excellent surface finish, superior mechanical strength compared to normal thermoplastics (acetate, propionate, etc.) and un unrivalled range of colours and associated effects. It also boasts remarkably light weight (20% lighter than acetate and other materials) and is non-allergenic. Indeed, this plasticizer-free material is treated with a special surface coating that allows it to withstand sweat and cosmetic products.
